Nominating Committee

Responsibilities of the Nominating Committee is as follows:

  1. The Nominating Committee will accept letters of intent from those seeking office beginning September 25 until October 25 of each election year.  They will review the letters of intent to make sure the candidates meet the qualifications to hold positions as stipulated in the constitution.
  2. The Nominating Committee will then review all resumes and select a slate of candidates for the Board.
  3. The slate that the Nominating Committee puts forward shall be printed in the “League” newsletter no later than one (1) week prior to the election.  All other qualified candidates who submitted resumes shall also have their names printed in the newsletter as “Other Qualified Candidate(s)”.
  4. No nominations from the floor will be accepted.
  5. Resumes should include qualifications, reasons for seeking office and position(s)

Membership of Nominating Committee is comprised of a chairman (Board Member) with no more than four (4) but no less than two (2) volunteers from the general membership of the League.
