Congratulations GU14 Mighty Dawgs!

This was an exciting weekend for our GU14 Mighty Dawgs team!  They finished their season as Division Champions … and they are now Back-to-Back Champions!   This is certainly a very difficult feat to accomplish that only highlights the tremendous amount of hard work and effort put in by not only the girls, but their coaches also. Congratulations girls. You should be extremely proud of your performance on the field this year as well as in the way that they have come together as a team. Go Mighty Dawgs!

GU10 – United Earn their First Division Championship!

As we catch our breath after a very exciting Spring 2014 Season,we wanted to congratulate ge the girls for winning their first of what I hope will be many Division Championships!!!
Coming off of a very tough Fall Season, they worked even harder than ever and completely undid everything that went wrong in the Fall.   To put things into perspective, our Fall goal differential was (-)34 compared to our Spring Campaign where we finished with a   (+) 21 differential, conceding only 4 goals in League play all season! What a remarkable turnaround. The credit for this success lies squarely with each and every one of the girls playing their part (some in very new positions),  playing within the system we are establishing, and giving their all.  To top things off, the United made it all the way to the LI Cup Finals, knocking off 2 tough Nassau County Teams to get there. Although we came up a bit short in the Final, this is still a great accomplishment.
Thank you girls for your  commitment and enthusiasm; Parents – thank you for your  continued support, and of course our dedicated coaching staff – this all would not be possible without you!
