Annual Elections

Annual Elections 2011 – Election Procedure

- Letters of Intent will be received through October 25,  2011.

- Our Nominating Committee will meet between October 26 and October 31 to determine the slate of offices.

- Slate of Offices for 2011/2012 will be presented to the current board on November 1, 2011.   A special “Election Lindy Kicker” newsletter will be mailed to registered League families listing the slated offices as well as all received Letters of Intent for positions that are opposed. This mailing will be sent out to all registered league members and will be posted on our website no later than November 4, 2011.   Elections will take place on November 17, 2011 at our Parent/Coaches Meeting.

- Results of the election will be posted in the Lindy Kicker as well as on our league website.

- Committees for the 2011/2012  seasons will be formed at the November 2011 Parent/Coaches Meeting following the election process. A full listing of committees and their responsibilities are listed on our Committee page of our website.

Election Process

In accordance with the Bylaws of the LJSSL, members in good standing will have an opportunity to vote for individuals seeking Board positions, on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 8:00 pm at our League Office, 34th and Buffalo Streets.

All Letters of Intent received by the Nominating Committee will be read to the members of the league in attendance.  Additionally, all Letters of Intent will be available for review during the election process at the League Office.

The Election process is an important part of our League. Your vote does count. Please be sure to mark your calendars and take the time to come out and vote!
